568-013 PTFE ORINGS FDA

Part number TFE013 is an AS568-013 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.426 in (10.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.566 in (14.38 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and solvents. PTFE (Teflon) is known for near-universal chemical inertness and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Applications involving molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery call for a different compound.

Typical settings include aggressive-media pipelines, laboratory equipment, and chemical processing.

Stocked as TFE013 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 7/16 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
