568-022 PTFE ORINGS FDA

The TFE022 is an AS568-022 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is known for near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. It resists steam, solvents, and oxidizing media. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical and biotech, and food and beverage.
