568-025 PTFE ORINGS FDA

Ordered as TFE025, this is an AS568-025 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.176 in (29.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.316 in (33.43 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and strong acids and bases. PTFE (Teflon) offers near-universal chemical inertness and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals are present.

Typical settings include laboratory equipment, food and beverage, and chemical processing.
