Ordered as TFE027, this is an AS568-027 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE (Teflon) offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and a very wide continuous service temperature range. This material stands up to steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery are present.
