568-032 PTFE ORINGS FDA

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-032 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D built to an inside diameter of 1.864 in (47.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.004 in (50.9 mm), catalogued under part number TFE032. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and steam. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for excellent dielectric properties and near-universal chemical inertness. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals.
