The TFE107 is an AS568-107 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.206 in (5.23 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists strong acids and bases, oxidizing media, and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is valued for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery.
