568-108 PTFE ORINGS FDA

Ordered as TFE108, this is an AS568-108 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.237 in (6.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.443 in (11.25 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE (Teflon) is valued for excellent dielectric properties and near-universal chemical inertness. The material holds up against nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and oxidizing media. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery.
