Ordered as TFE111, this is an AS568-111 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.424 in (10.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.63 in (16 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for excellent dielectric properties and very wide continuous service temperature range. Expect good resistance to solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Applications involving elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals call for a different compound.
