TFE112 is an AS568-112 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.487 in (12.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.693 in (17.6 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for excellent dielectric properties and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The material holds up against steam, solvents, and strong acids and bases. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
