The TFE131 is an AS568-131 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.674 in (42.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.88 in (47.75 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is known for excellent dielectric properties and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. It resists nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and oxidizing media. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor fabrication, and laboratory equipment.
