This o-ring is supplied in AS568-135 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D with an inside diameter of 1.925 in (48.9 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.131 in (54.13 mm), catalogued under part number TFE135. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is specified for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and near-universal chemical inertness. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals.
