Part number TFE141 is an AS568-141 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.3 in (58.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.506 in (63.65 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. It resists steam, strong acids and bases, and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
