APG stocks the TFE150, an AS568-150 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. PTFE (Teflon) offers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and near-universal chemical inertness. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C).

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical and biotech, and laboratory equipment.
