Ordered as TFE176, this is an AS568-176 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.237 in (234.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.443 in (239.85 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to solvents, strong acids and bases, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is known for a very wide continuous service temperature range and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.
