Ordered as TFE216, this is an AS568-216 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. PTFE (Teflon) offers excellent dielectric properties and a very wide continuous service temperature range. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).

Typical settings include chemical processing, aggressive-media pipelines, and pharmaceutical and biotech.
