APG stocks the TFE235, an AS568-235 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.109 in (78.97 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.387 in (86.03 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE (Teflon) delivers excellent dielectric properties and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, oxidizing media, and strong acids and bases. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals are present.
