The TFE241 is an AS568-241 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.859 in (98.02 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.137 in (105.08 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for near-universal chemical inertness and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include semiconductor fabrication, food and beverage, and aggressive-media pipelines.
