Ordered as TFE260, this is an AS568-260 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.484 in (164.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.762 in (171.75 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to solvents, strong acids and bases, and nearly all industrial chemicals. PTFE (Teflon) offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Applications involving molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery call for a different compound.
