TFE265 is an AS568-265 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.734 in (196.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.012 in (203.5 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is valued for near-universal chemical inertness and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. It resists nearly all industrial chemicals, oxidizing media, and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in aggressive-media pipelines, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical and biotech.
