APG stocks the TFE267, an AS568-267 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.234 in (209.14 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.512 in (216.2 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE (Teflon) is known for a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, steam, and oxidizing media. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Exposure to molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.

Typical settings include food and beverage, aggressive-media pipelines, and chemical processing.
