TFE274 is an AS568-274 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9.984 in (253.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.262 in (260.65 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists oxidizing media, solvents, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is valued for excellent dielectric properties and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.
