Ordered as TFE311, this is an AS568-311 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.537 in (13.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.957 in (24.31 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for very wide continuous service temperature range and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. This material stands up to steam, solvents, and oxidizing media. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.
