568-315 PTFE ORINGS FDA

Ordered as TFE315, this is an AS568-315 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.787 in (19.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.207 in (30.66 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, and steam. PTFE (Teflon) is valued for a very wide continuous service temperature range and near-universal chemical inertness. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.
