APG stocks the TFE327, an AS568-327 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.145 in (54.48 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to solvents, steam, and strong acids and bases. PTFE (Teflon) delivers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature are present.

Typical settings include chemical processing, food and beverage, and laboratory equipment.
