The TFE353 is an AS568-353 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.395 in (137.03 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. Expect good resistance to oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, and nearly all industrial chemicals. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals.
