This o-ring is supplied in AS568-354 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D measuring an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.52 in (140.21 mm), catalogued under part number TFE354. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE (Teflon) delivers a very wide continuous service temperature range and near-universal chemical inertness. It resists oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Exposure to molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.
