TFE359 is an AS568-359 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.145 in (156.08 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is valued for near-universal chemical inertness and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).

Typical settings include chemical processing, food and beverage, and laboratory equipment.
