TFE370 is an AS568-370 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.225 in (208.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.645 in (219.58 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. This material stands up to oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
