Ordered as TFE371, this is an AS568-371 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to solvents, steam, and strong acids and bases. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is valued for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and excellent dielectric properties. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
