This o-ring is supplied in AS568-374 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D with an inside diameter of 9.225 in (234.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.645 in (244.98 mm), catalogued under part number TFE374. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and very wide continuous service temperature range. Expect good resistance to solvents, strong acids and bases, and nearly all industrial chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.
