TFE380 is an AS568-380 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

It resists nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and steam. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for near-universal chemical inertness and excellent dielectric properties. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Applications involving elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery call for a different compound.

Typical settings include laboratory equipment, aggressive-media pipelines, and semiconductor fabrication.
