APG stocks the TFE385, an AS568-385 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.375 in (415.93 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE (Teflon) delivers near-universal chemical inertness and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Expect good resistance to steam, strong acids and bases, and nearly all industrial chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Exposure to molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature will shorten service life.
