Ordered as TFE387, this is an AS568-387 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.375 in (466.73 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE (Teflon) is valued for excellent dielectric properties and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. It resists steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery.
