Part number TFE390 is an AS568-390 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 20.953 in (532.21 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.373 in (542.87 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is known for a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and oxidizing media. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.
