The TFE392 is an AS568-392 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.36 in (593.34 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for excellent dielectric properties and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery.

It sees regular use in food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotech, and semiconductor fabrication.
