Ordered as TFE395, this is an AS568-395 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 25.94 in (658.88 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 26.36 in (669.54 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for near-universal chemical inertness and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Expect good resistance to strong acids and bases, oxidizing media, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.

Typical settings include semiconductor fabrication, food and beverage, and aggressive-media pipelines.
