TFE432 is an AS568-432 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.9 in (149.86 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The material holds up against solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).

It sees regular use in semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical and biotech, and chemical processing.
