This o-ring is supplied in AS568-467 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D supplied with an inside diameter of 18.955 in (481.46 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.505 in (495.43 mm), catalogued under part number TFE467. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is specified for excellent dielectric properties and near-universal chemical inertness. The material holds up against solvents, oxidizing media, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C).
