Part number TFE471 is an AS568-471 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 21.955 in (557.66 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 22.505 in (571.63 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to steam, oxidizing media, and strong acids and bases. PTFE (Teflon) is valued for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and near-universal chemical inertness. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.
