TFE473 is an AS568-473 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 23.94 in (608.08 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 24.49 in (622.05 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE (Teflon) delivers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and excellent dielectric properties. It resists oxidizing media, solvents, and strong acids and bases. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals are present.

Common environments for this compound include pharmaceutical and biotech, chemical processing, and semiconductor fabrication.
