Ordered as TFE903, this is an AS568-903 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.301 in (7.65 mm), a cross section of 0.064 in (1.63 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.429 in (10.9 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE (Teflon) is valued for a very wide continuous service temperature range and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Applications involving service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature call for a different compound.
