Part number TFE905 is an AS568-905 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.414 in (10.52 mm), a cross section of 0.072 in (1.83 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.558 in (14.17 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) delivers a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.
