The TFE906 is an AS568-906 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.468 in (11.89 mm), a cross section of 0.078 in (1.98 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.624 in (15.85 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) offers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and excellent dielectric properties. Expect good resistance to oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, and solvents. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Applications involving service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature call for a different compound.
