This o-ring is supplied in AS568-907 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D built to an inside diameter of 0.53 in (13.46 mm), a cross section of 0.082 in (2.08 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.694 in (17.63 mm), catalogued under part number TFE907. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE (Teflon) delivers near-universal chemical inertness and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Expect good resistance to steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Exposure to elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.

Typical settings include food and beverage, laboratory equipment, and semiconductor fabrication.
