The TFE913 is an AS568-913 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.986 in (25.04 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.218 in (30.94 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against solvents, oxidizing media, and nearly all industrial chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) delivers near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Exposure to service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature will shorten service life.

Typical settings include semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical and biotech, and laboratory equipment.
