APG stocks the TFE924, an AS568-924 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.72 in (43.69 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.956 in (49.68 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists strong acids and bases, steam, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) delivers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Exposure to service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aggressive-media pipelines, laboratory equipment, and food and beverage.
