QV70036 is an AS568-036 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
