Q-046 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70046 is an AS568-046 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.239 in (107.67 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.379 in (111.23 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

It resists aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
