Q-049 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70049 is an AS568-049 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.989 in (126.72 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.129 in (130.28 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and chemical processing.
