Part number QV70050 is an AS568-050 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.239 in (133.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.379 in (136.63 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.
